Membuat lensa ini sebagai lensa serbaguna sebagai lensa biasa dan lensa Zoom. Fitur di lensa ini dengan anti getar / VR dan silent wave motor. Tetapi harga lensa ini tidak murah.

Seandainya anda suka membuat foto yang tajam dengan camera Full frame sensor. Nikon tahun depan menyiapkan lensa baru 35mm f.1.8G untuk Nikon FX. Lensa sekarang yang ada hanya 35mm f.2 atau diatasnya yang lebih mahal 35mm f.14g.
